fall blog hop

Well, I recently was bed-ridden with a nasty sinus cold and migraine, UGH! But during a lucid moment, I went online to check email, facebook, and the world of crafting. I stumbled upon a fall blog hop and saw some pretty awesome creations! I love seeing other peoples work! I just had to post about the blog hop (seeing as I won a prize! yippee!) thanks to Cheryl Gaffney cardsbycg.blogspot (I think it was either my Pink Stamper or Karlee Krafts that led me to you all.) Anyway, I will be laid off the day before Thanksgiving (sigh) so hopefully will have more time to post my projects. I am making candle holders with my Scout troop (trying to find baby food jars for this project), and will be starting my homemade Christmas cards soon!

Pink Stamper Challenge #11

I am sad! I really wanted to post at least half of the "My Pink Stamper - National Scrapbook day" challenges, but was only able to complete one! This photo is about 5 years old, but one of the few that I have of my family as a group! Hope you like it! The challenge was to use the color of the rainbow, so I cut the words off of the black paper and adhered the colors behind. I also used Making Memories brads to make a line of color across the bottom. Not as creative as I usually am, but REALLY wanted to post SOMETHING! LOL!

LOVE making cards!

Here is a card I made for Easter using some ribbon, bunny brads (I think from Making Memories) and Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cartridge!

Girl Scout Cookies!

My daughter decided this year that she wanted to be a Girl Scout. So I signed her up over the summer and waited for the phone call on what troop she would be in. It didn't come. There were no troops with openings for her level (Grade 1 - Daisy Scout). So, I took the plunge and volunteered. Crazy? Yes, but most days are good. It is a challenge working with other peoples children. Their likes and dislikes are not familiar to you. BUT back to the WORLD OF COOKIES! My troop of 9 girls sold 1116 boxes of cookies! That is 93 cases! HOLY SAMOAS!!! I am going on Wednesday to help sort the delivery and round up my cookies. I am scared! LOL! I have seen 13 cases with a table and 2 chairs in the back of my Santa Fe for booth sales. But 93 cases! YIKES! I will take pictures of my mountain of cookies and post that either Wednesday or Thursday. For some odd reason, I think I may never want to eat Girl Scout cookies ever again! LOL!

Cricut Snow White

I had taken my daughter to a Princess Tea party and here is the double page layout I made of her with Snow White. The cottage is cut out with my cricut, and the apples too.

Happy Anniversary

New Years Eve 2009 was my 9th wedding anniversary! I made this for my husband as a gift using my cricut! Took a while, but was so worth it!
