Tea towel dresses
I saw a post on CraftGossip.com and thought they were adorable! I had to try them out! So, over to A Little Loveliness I went and printed out the instructions. My daughters friend is moving to Texas so we were having her over for a weekend of fun before she would have to leave and I brought them to Jo-Ann's to find see what we could find. I picked up one embroidered tea towel (they only had one!) and then let the girls find a fabric they liked. We ended up with white with silver sparkles and my daughter picked the turquoise ribbon, while her friend, the purple. It took a while to make as I had to finish all eight edges of fabric instead of just the two from cutting the towel in half.
If you go to http://networkedblogs.com/kV5aq you can see the original post - just look for the post from July 19, 2011 titled "Tea Towel Pillowcase Doll Dress Tutorial" and there are so many more wonderful things if you look around Melissa's site!
Here are the photos of the doll dresses we made on Saturday July 23, 2011....

Tacky Tuesday's Challenge #7 - Sea Creature
It took me a while to come up with this one, but I really enjoyed it once it came to me! I used George to cut out the stencil for the letters and then used Studio 8 glitter glue to color them in, I used Paper Doll Dress Up and glitter paper for the sand and the sea creatures were with Create A Critter. I used my gypsy and lined up all my paper and let it go!
Hope you like it!
BTW - This was what I commented when the new challenge went up on June 21st...
"woohoo! new challenge, now where is my craft office? I know it was in that corner of the house, but it is missing under a lot of paperwork and stacks of school books! LOL!"
Unfortunately, my office was never found and I crafted on a corner of my desk and my lap! LOL! (Three tests and two finals makes it difficult to organize! But no worries! I have a week to straighten my nonsense out!

My Pink Stamper Challenge # 8
http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2011/05/national-scrapbook-day-challenge-8.html
This is challenge #8 which was to make something with a summer theme. These photos were taken in 2009 and I have been trying to stick them on paper since! I knew I wanted to use blue paper for the background but didn't know what else! Since I had been using Pooh Font and A Childs Year all day, I figured, why stop now!
So here it is. My daughter (yup the baby from challenge #6) finding a crab at Cape Cod.. She was so proud of herself!

Challenge #6 was to incorporate a tag into the project. Going through the book for A Childs Year, I had to make a baby page for my daughter. The picture is right after she was born and the little bugs were die cuts that I have had forever. I added some yarn for some color and texture (sorry hard to see, there is so much pink it makes the photo almost washed out!!!).
Hope you like it!
My Pink Stamper Challenge #5
http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2011/05/national-scrapbook-day-challenge-5.html
The 5th challenge was to create something 3-D. So, after thinking bit, I decided to make a card holder. My friend likes frogs so I used Create a Critter and cut two of everthing at 4 inches. Then I used my hot glue gun and attached one complete frog on each side of a clothespin. I printed out the sentiment from my computer. When assembled, I realized my froggy didn't like to stand, so I added a stick from my yard! and still being a bit wobbly added a rectangle of cardstock for the base.
My Pink Stamper Challenge #4

Challenge #4 was to make something for Mothers Day. This is the one that I completed Saturday so I could give it to my MIL. I used yellow paper as it is her favorite color. I used my Cricut cartridge A Childs Year for the cut and printed the sentiment from my computer. I used twine on the bottom of the card for a little dimension.
